How to Read This Chart

Each cell represents one of 169 unique starting hands. The diagonal shows pocket pairs, above-diagonal cells are suited hands, and below-diagonal cells are offsuit hands. Green cells are raises, blue cells are calls, and grey cells are folds. Split-colored cells show mixed strategies — the color proportions represent GTO frequencies (e.g. "R60/F40" means raise 60% of the time, fold 40%). Hover any cell for details.

These ranges are GTO-approximate and based on widely accepted 6-max opening strategies. They serve as a solid starting framework — adjust based on table dynamics, opponent tendencies, and stack depths. For exact solver outputs, consider dedicated GTO software.

Why Position Matters

Later positions let you play more hands because you have more information and better post-flop position. The button opens nearly three times as many hands as under the gun.

Tips for Using Ranges

Treat these charts as a starting framework, not rigid rules. Adjust based on opponent tendencies, stack depths, and table dynamics. Tighten up against strong players and widen against passive ones.
